For one glorious day this week, it actually felt like spring. Abigail and I played in the backyard and walked to the park. The next day we had hail, rain, thunder, lighting, and a little snow.
I'm hoping for a speedy return of the sunshine.

Maimbow
Abigail saw her first rainbow today. (See some pictures of it here). She quickly learned how to say rainbow (maimbow), and proceeded to repeat her new word for about the next hour.
Playing Piano with Daddy, and the "Goss"
Abigail is completely fascinated by the cross that hangs on our bedroom wall. She will stand at the door and say "Goss! Goss! Seees." (Cross. Cross. Please). She likes to just go in and look at it. We talk about why we love the cross - that it reminds us of Jesus and what he did for us on the cross. One day she would not take a nap until I brought the cross in and set it in her room where she could see it. We hung up her cross in her room over her crib, but she still loves to go look at the one in our room. Here are some pictures of her playing with it and hugging it.

Her wardrobe was lovingly supplied by Grandpa & Grandma (thanks for the Valentine's shirt!) and Great Auntie Kathy (thanks for the cool knit socks!).
Stuff
Abigail has been fighting a little cold this week. It's not seeming as bad as the last one, but she did get quite a high fever one day. She even took two naps on Monday and Tuesday! Today was a one-napper, but she did curl up on the couch for a little while (while wearing my robe). 
And did I ever mention that the ceiling in our laundry room caved in? Frozen pipes. Not fun. Fortunately we have a reasonably priced plumber that we've used a few times who was able to come out quickly to fix things. Aaron insulated the (new) pipes really well, so we shouldn't have the same problem again. Now, we'll just have to see about fixing the ceiling. Praise the Lord that it was the laundry room (which is essentially a back room in the garage. Anywhere else in the house and this would have been a much bigger problem.
