What a great idea (picture of the day club!) I started my blog for the same reason. The only problem was that none of my family and friends would openly admit to viewing my blog (unless I pressed them on it)
Then suddenly, I had a bunch of strangers who became my friends visiting it more frequently than my family. It's a strange, strange world...:-)
